ECC's Scacchitti and Stauffer win D9-AA doubles title

Elk County Catholic's Marla Scacchitti and Rachel Stauffer captured the District 9-AA tennis doubles championship Tuesday afternoon at the DuBois Area High School courts by defeating St. Marys Area's Amy Orr and Sarah Casey in the championship match.

Lady Crusader volleyball beats Lady Dutch 3-0

The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusader volleyball team raised their record to 8-2 on the season as they defeated the St. Marys Area Lady Dutch by a 3-0 score Tuesday night at the Dutch Oven.

Dutchmen dominate Wolves 10-3 for senior night victory

The St. Marys Area Dutch soccer team scored a season high 10 goals on Tuesday afternoon to defeat the Kane Wolves 10-3 during a senior night contest played at the SMAHS soccer field.

Lady Crusader soccer edges Punxsy 1-0

The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders kept their winning streak alive on Monday afternoon by edging the Punxsutawney Lady Chucks 1-0 in a match played at Benzinger Park. ECC has now won eight in a row after dropping their first five games.

Lady Dutch soccer shuts out Smethport 4-0

The St. Marys Area Lady Dutch soccer team improved to 7-6 on the season with a 4-0 victory over the Smethport Lady Hubbers Monday afternoon at the SMAHS soccer field.

Crusader soccer loses to Punxsy Chucks 4-1

 It was a chilly and damp night at Angela Huey Memorial Field in Kersey on Thursday as the Elk County Catholic Crusader soccer team took to the field to battle a familiar foe in the Punxsutawney Chucks, a team they had just played two weekends ago. Punxsy had won that contest 5-2 and the Crusaders were hoping to avenge the loss, but in the end the Chucks once again prevailed, this time by a score of 4-1.

Crusaders fall to Wolves 35-7 in homecoming contest

The Elk County Catholic Crusader football team had their homecoming game on Saturday afternoon at Dutch Country Stadium, losing 35-7 to the Kane Wolves to fall to 0-6 on the season.

Clarion Bobcats hand Flying Dutchmen 46-0 setback

The Clarion Bobcats remained undefeated on the season as they handed the St. Marys Area Flying Dutchmen a 46-0 KSAC loss last night at Dutch Country Stadium on homecoming night for the Dutch.

The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusader soccer team won their seventh straight contest as they defeated the DuBois Central Lady Cardinals by a 2-1 score Thursday afternoon at Benzinger Park.
