327 take part in Inner Park Day

The occasional rain showers that passed through the area early Wednesday afternoon did little to dampen the spirits of the 327 area youngsters between the ages of 5-14 taking part in Memorial Park's annual Inner Park Day.
This year's turnout was nearly the same as last year's, and Memorial Park Director Jason Schreiber remarked that he and his staff were "very happy" with the number of youngsters taking part in the event.
"Five years ago we had a lot at 180. To almost double that is unbelievable," Schreiber said.
