Adeline D. Schwabenbauer, 91, of 615 Sherry Rd., St. Marys, died Wednesday morning at the Pinecrest Manor in St. Marys following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 2, 1919, in Kersey, daughter of the late LeRoy J. and Theresa Miller Mosier.
On May 22, 1946, in the St. Boniface Church, Kersey, she married John A. Schwabenbauer, who survives.
She attended St. Boniface School and was a graduate of Kersey High School, Class of 1938. She was a former employee of Sylvania in Emporium, and Stackpole Carbon Co. She was a member of the St. Mary's Church, volunteered at the Parochial and high school cafeterias, loved gardening and Scrabble, and enjoyed bird watching and artistic hobbies.
Besides her husband, she is surved by a son, John C. "Jack" Schwabenbauer and his wife, Sandra of Altoona; four grandchildren, Lori Provost, Adam Schwabenbauer, Bradley Pike, and Andrea Hamel; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Karl T. Schwabenbauer, on Sept. 23, 1988, five sisters, Eva Wilson, Mary Smith, Margaret Smith, and two in infancy, two brothers, Charles and Thomas Mosier. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Adeline Schwabenbauer to be held in the St. Mary's Church on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Meinrad Lawson, OSB, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.

The Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
