Aileen M. Carpin

Aileen M. Carpin, 82, of Bennetts Valley Highway, Weedville, died early Monday, Aug. 18, 2014 at the DuBois Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
He was born Jan. 11, 1932 in Force, daughter of the late David and Margaret (Assalone) Cameroni.
On Nov. 25, 1950, she married Casimir “Charlie” Carpin who preceded her in death Feb. 26, 2013.
She was a graduate of Bennetts Valley High School and cosmetology school in DuBois.
She was owner/operator of Aileen's Beauty Salon in Weedville for more than 40 years.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force where she was active with the Rosary Altar Society and preparing food for church functions, including funeral dinners. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and caring for her family. She lived all her life in Bennetts Valley.
She is survived by three daughters, Roseann (Duane) Liptak, Charlene (David) Liptak, and Tracey (John) Phillips, all of Weedville; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to be parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Cameroni Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Aileen M. Carpin will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force with Reverend Father William Sutherland as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 4-8 p.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home, Penfield, and Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to the St. Joseph Church or the Bennetts Valley Ambulance.
