Alice B. (Alderton) Bundy

Alice B. (Alderton) Bundy, 81, of 672 W. Long Ave., DuBois, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 at DuBois Nursing Home.
She was born on July 16, 1930 in Winslow Township, daughter of the late Elmer T. and Alice Corbin Alderton.
She married Harold E. Bundy of DuBois on June 12, 1971. He survives.
She graduated from Reynoldsville High School, Class of 1948. She was a retired LPN and worked at the former Maple Avenue Hospital in DuBois for 23 years. She was a member of Boone Mountain Emanuel Church in Sabula and enjoyed going to camp.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Fordoski (Linda) of Kersey and Edward Fordoski (Dori) of Falls Creek; a daughter, Lillian Arthurs (Ted) of Danville, Va.; one stepson, Leslie Bundy (Sandy) of Bedford Heights, Ohio; four stepdaughters, Cheryl Bundy of Eustis, Fla., Bonnie Tustin (Tony) of West Alexander, Pa., Debbie Hensley (Jimmy) of Ravenna, Ohio and Karen Armstrong (Paul) of Southington, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Fordoski, in 1966; four brothers; and one sister.
A funeral service for Alice B. (Alderton) Bundy will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home in Reynoldsville, with Pastor Mick Ent officiating. Burial will be in the Reynoldsville Cemetery.
