Alice R. Haberberger

Alice R. Haberberger, 90, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of 136 Wehler Road, St. Marys, died on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the nursing home.
She was born Dec. 2, 1921 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Quigley Haberberger.
She graduated from Mercyhurst Seminary in Erie, Class of 1939. She then attended Southern Seminary & Junior College in Buena Vista, Va. and the Washington School for Secretaries in Washington, D.C. She worked as a secretary at Stackpole Carbon Company for 38 years. She was also a member of Queen of the World Church.
She is survived by a niece, Andrea, Mrs. Greg Smith of St. Marys; and a step-sister, Romaine Ellenberger of DuBois.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two step-sisters, Victoria Thuis and Rose Ann Uhl.
Graveside Services for Alice R. Haberberger will be held at the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery on Tuesday, March 13, 2012  at 11:30 a.m.
There will be no visitation.
