Disseminating information to today's youth can be a challenging task since they often do not have the same habits as those in older generations. For John Amoratis, Youth Minister for the three Catholic parishes in St. Marys, that challenge led to the creation of a new app for iOS devices that will eventually help individuals stay in touch with church happenings without having to read a physical copy of the weekly bulletin.
Amoratis explained that the idea came about after roughly 42 of the current 60 Life Teen students were surveyed about how often they read the church bulletin.
