Anna Marie Herzing

Anna Marie Herzing, 75, of Church Street, Tyler, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 at home.
She was born April 29, 1935 in Tyler, daughter of the late Angelo and Concetta (Paturzo) Cataldi. On Oct. 21, 1961, she married William J. Herzing, who survives.  
She was a homemaker who lived all her life in Tyler. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, word searches and especially enjoyed her time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Mrs. Paul (Margaret) Gatewood of Auburn, N.Y., William Herzing II and his wife Meghan of Arlington, Va., Anna Herzing of Brookville and Mrs. Edward (Nancy) Dulzer of Cleveland, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cosimo Cataldi of Thousand Oaks, Calif. and Frank and his wife Vera Cataldi of Penfield; and a sister, Mrs. Bill (Jennie) Emmert of St. Marys.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Tony Cataldi.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Anna Marie Herzing will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Force, with Father Thomas Tyler officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home, Penfield.
