Anne E. Defibaugh

Anne E. Defibaugh, 82, of 432 Lookout Ave., Ridgway, died July 30, 2013, at Pinecrest Manor.
She was born May 27, 1931, in Port Allegany, the daughter of Gordan and Signe Erickson Edgar.
On February 23, 1952, she married Howard Defibaugh, he survives.
Mrs. Defibaugh was Methodist by faith. She had been employed by North Penn Gas Co., Hamlin Bank and Trust Co., and by Producer’s Bank. She moved to Ridgway with her family in 1974. She was active with the Bloodmobile, American Cancer Society, Hospital Aux. Thrifty Shop and she was on the Board of the Elk County Historical Society.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Thomas Defibaugh of Bradford and Richard Defibaugh of Ridgway; two grandchildren, Melissa Stitzer (Mark) of Zion and Matthew Defibaugh of York; a sister, Kathy Van Ette of Port Allegany; and by a brother, Theodore Edgar (Mary) of Smethport.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Edgar.
Funeral services for Anne E. Defibaugh will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home.
