Anne (Twig) Vogt

Anne (Twig) Vogt, 56, of 326 Shawmut Ave., Johnsonburg, died Sunday morning, Sept. 30, 2012, at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 26, 1955, in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late Orlando (Popeye) and Borgia McDivitt Maletto. On Aug. 10, 1974, at St. Leo's Church in Ridgway, she married Victor (Vic) Vogt, who survives.
She lived in Johnsonburg most of her life and also lived briefly in Ridgway. She graduated from Johnsonburg Area High School in 1973.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Wilcox Legion, Wilcox Sportsmen's Club, the Eagles and the Rolfe Sportsmen's Club. She loved her family, camping, and motorcycling.
She was employed by Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys for 18 years, retiring in 2008. She was also a florist with Lyn-Clare Flower Shop for 10 years.
In addition to her husband at home, she is survived by two children, Amie, Mrs. Matt Hooper of New Paltz, N.Y., and Victor C. (Buko) Vogt and his fiancee Lindsay Kist of State College; two grandchildren, Mason and Samuel Hooper of New Paltz, N.Y.; two brothers, Michael O. Maletto of Jamestown N.Y., and Ralph E. Maletto and his wife Mattie of Johnsonburg; and two sisters, Kathi Bailey and her fiance Gary Bauer of Kersey, and Angelina Maletto of Charlotte, N.C.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony and Frank Maletto.
Funeral services for Anne (Twig) Vogt will be conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, Inc. in Johnsonburg. Officiating will be the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg.
Interment will be private.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Donations, if desired, may be made to Hahne Cancer Center in DuBois or Community Nurses Hospice of St. Marys.
