Annunciata M. "Nancy" McGill

Annunciata M. "Nancy" McGill, 98, of 441 W. Mill Street, St. Marys, died at the home of her daughter on Sunday, May 22, 2011 after a brief illness. 
She was born Aug. 25, 1912 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Frank and Antoinette Pultava Piccolo. 
On January 17, 1942 in Sacred Heart Church, she married the late Paul McGill. 
Mrs. McGill was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She was also a member of the C.D. of A, St. Anne's Society, and the Rosary Altar Society. She enjoyed many years of service caring for the Driscoll family. She enjoyed traveling and was a faithful and devoted Catholic. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was the last member of her immediate family.
She is survived by two daughters, Anita, Mrs. James Groll of St. Marys, and Annette, Mrs. Howard Meyer of St. Marys; three sons, James McGill and his wife Donna of Johnsonburg, John McGill and his wife Carol of St. Marys, and Dennis McGill and his wife Linda of St. Marys; 16 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Piccolo Sr. and Dominic Piccolo, a half-brother, Nicholas Piccolo, and a brother in infancy, Samuel Piccolo; and three sisters, Mary Reed, Concetta Gerarge and Amelia in infancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Annunciata "Nancy" McGill will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 325 Center Street, on Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt OSB as celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
