Antoinette “Net” Schatz

Antoinette “Net” Schatz, 84, of Cherry Avenue, Weedville, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Elk Haven Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
She was born March 12, 1930 in Byrnedale, daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Marie Asalone.
She was married to Alvin Schatz who preceded her in death in 2000.
She was a homemaker, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force and the Byrnedale Senior Center. She enjoyed time with her family. She lived all her life in Bennetts Valley.
She is survived by her son, Alvin (Cathy) Schatz of Weedville; one daughter, Rose (Gary) Auman of St. Marys; one grandson, Daniel (Ellen) Schatz of Weedville; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hayden.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Anthony, Michael, Albert, William and Pat; and two sisters, Mary Rucinski and Carmella Sellers.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Antoinette “Net” Schatz will be held Friday, July 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force with Reverend Father William Sutherland, pastor, as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
The family suggests memorials to the Bennetts Valley Ambulance.
