Barbara A. Wantuck

Barbara A. Wantuck, 68, of 1280 Lockes Hill Rd., Wilcox, died early Saturday morning, Oct. 30, 2010, at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys, following a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 31, 1941, in Lawton, OK, daughter of the late Richard T. and Betty Decker Benson.
On Sept. 1, 1962, in Honolulu, HI, she married William Thomas Wantuck, who survives.
She resided in Wilcox for the past 11 years and had lived abroad in Japan, South Korea, and Iran. She had also lived in Los Angeles, Calif. She graduated from high school in Arlington, Va., and graduated from the University of Hawaii. She was an Episcopalian by faith. She was employed by Sperry Microwave for 20 years, and also worked for Hercules Defense Electrodes.
Besides her husband, she is survived by an aunt, Kathryn Thompson of Atascadero, Calif.
A memorial service for the late Barbara A. Wantuck will be held at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Friday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, officiating.
Interment will be private and at the discretion of the family.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 12 from 9 to 10 a.m.
