Photo submitted Dara Benjamin, pictured, is crowned "Pie Queen" at South St. Marys Street Elementary School for her volunteer work as event chairperson over the last five years.

As St. Marys resident Dara Benjamin now knows, you should always keep your eyes on the pies. Benjamin was crowned "Pie Queen" as more than 2,800 of the dessert items were delivered to South St. Marys St. Elementary School under her watchful eye on Saturday, Nov. 4 for a fundraising event.
