Bertha N. Wickett

Bertha N. Wickett, 80, of St. Marys, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Select Specialty Services in Erie.
She was born Oct. 3, 1931, in St. Marys, the daughter of John and Margaret Leightner Brennen. She married Jerome V. Wickett, who predeceased her on Dec. 23, 2010. She resided all of her life in St. Marys. Mrs. Wickett was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. She had been employed at Sylvania for a number of years.
She is survived by four children, William Wickett (Susie) of Lake Wells, Fla., Gerald Wickett of Kersey, Jeffrey Wickett of Kersey and Susan Blalock (Tony) of Lake Wells, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by eight brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services for Bertha N. Wickett will be held in the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 1 p.m. Officiating will be Fr. Brian Vossler, pastor of St. Leo’s Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church, 325 Center St., St. Marys, PA 15857.
