Board approves personnel items

The St. Marys Area School District Board of Directors approved several personnel issues at this month’s regular meeting.
All employment recommendations are provisional for 30 days pending receipt of Act 151 and Act 34 clearance documentation and pre-employment drug testing if applicable.
Three unpaid leaves of absences were approved.
Supplemental contracts were awarded to:
• Thomas Bussard, intramural wrestling coach, renewal at a rate of $500;
• Daniele Auman, new contract pool supervisor, at a rate of $15/hour, and Bennetts Valley Yearbook Advisor, renewal at a rate of $105;
• Victoria Dippold, assistant swim coach, renewal at a rate of $1,323;
• Randy McCurdy, intramural girls’ basketball coach, renewal at a rate of $348;
• Angie Miller, assistant gymnastics coach, renewal at a rate of $1,323;
• Tristan Mulcahy, second assistant boys’ basketball coach, renewal at a rate of $1,600;
• Rachel Schreiber, pool supervisor, renewal at a rate of $15/hour;
• Mary Secco, assistant swim coach, renewal at a rate of $1,772;
• Douglas Surra, first assistant wrestling coach, new contract at a rate of $1,800;
• Dave Taylor, assistant wrestling coach, renewal volunteer’
• Michele Tripodi, science department chairperson, new contract at a rate of $1,852;
• Tim Wurm, second assistant wrestling coach, new contract at a rate of $1,852;
• Eric Wonderling, assistant swim coach-diving, renewal at a rate of $1,389.
