Bolstad is a good conductor of success in music education

Photo by Amy Cherry As the guest conductor of the District II Band Festival, St. Marys native Dr. Stephen Bolstad worked with area honor band students. He is currently the director of bands at James Madison University.

Dr. Stephen Bolstad, a St. Marys native, returned to his hometown as the guest conductor of the the recent PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) District II Band Festival held at Elk County Catholic High School.
