Brian L. Erich

Brian L. Erich, 44, of 133 Wehler Rd., St. Marys, died on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug. 6, 1967 in St. Marys, a son of John "Jack" Erich, St. Marys, and the late Jean M. Vollmer Erich, who preceded him in death on April 16, 2010.
Brian was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of SMAHS, Class of 1985. He was employed at Metaldyne for more than 25 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and trapping. He also enjoyed planting outdoor food plots and shooting sporting clays. 
In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers, Glenn Erich and his wife Fran of St. Marys, and Blaine Erich of Kersey; two nephews, Jesse and Nick Erich of St. Marys; and by close friends Dave and Debbie Kerner of St. Marys.
In addition to his beloved mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gregg J. Erich, on Dec. 10, 2011.
Relatives and friends of Brian L. Erich are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at the Queen Of The World Church,
134 Queens Rd., St. Marys, on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at 12 p.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, O.S.B., as celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
