Eric Uhl was defeated 4-6, 1-6 by Brockway's Alec Bouch at fourth singles.
Dutchman Dalton Gennocro won his fifth singles match 6-1, 6-1 against Jessie Powers.
"We were without our first singles player today due to illness, but I was pleased with how the boys played their singles matches since everyone had to move up a spot," said SMA coach Sue Lepovetsky.
In first doubles, Evan Lepovetsky and D.J. Challingsworth lost their match 4-8 to Brockway's Fabio Fortunato and Alec Bouch.
In second doubles, Dutchmen Jarrod Lipsey and Dalton Gennocro defeated Joey Britton and Jessie Powers 8-3.
In third doubles, Gary Fledderman and Garrett Wendel, who was playing in his first varsity match, lost 1-8 against Brockway's Jordan Olivio and Noah Serafini.
In fourth doubles, Zach Fox and Deric Luvaas lost a tough match 9-11 against Brockway's Sam Parkins and James Matson.
"I had to make some changes at doubles today, so we just came up short in our doubles play, which made the difference in our match," Lepovetsky said.
The St. Marys squad will return to action next Tuesday as they host DuBois Area for a 3:30 p.m. contest.
