Butterfly release for hospice coming up

A poignant ceremony that offers area residents the opportunity to honor someone special will again be held by Community Nurses, Inc.
The Community Nurses Butterfly Release for Hospice will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5 at The Serenity Garden, behind the organization's building on the campus of Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys. The general public is invited to the release, which allows area residents to honor their loved ones and benefits the Community Nurses' Hospice program.
Community Nurses Marketing/Public Relations Coordinator Ann Bauer said that the release is always "a touching ceremony" and that it gives families an inspirational way to celebrate someone's life, whether that person is alive or alive only in memories.
