August 3, 2011

To the delight of many of the participants, butterflies alit on hands, shoulders and clothing before over 200 monarch butterflies took flight during the 2010 Community Nurses Butterfly Release for Hospice. The 2011 Annual Butterfly Release will take place on Sunday, Aug. 7 at 4 p.m. at The Serenity Garden on the campus of Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys. A large crowd is expected at this year’s event. Those who require seating are asked to bring a lawn chair.
The event will include inspirational readings, music, the reading of names, and  the live butterfly release. Please join the Community Nurses for this moving event. For more information, call Ann at 781-4729. Photo submitted.
