Carol M. Parisi, 69, of 501 Townview Rd., St. Marys, formerly of Emporium, died at her residence early Sunday morning, Feb. 9, 2014.
She was born May 23, 1944 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Floyd Wickett and Ann Unick.
Carol worked at Walmart for many years where she enjoyed meeting new people and socializing with her coworkers. Carol's grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart, were the joy of her life along with her many "forever friends."
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda (Scott) Mullens of Emporium, Cheryl (Bryan) Caton of Emporium and Connie Andrews of Emporium; two sons, Donald (Ann) Losey of Emporium and Todd Parisi of Jacksonville, N.C.; 13 grandchildren, Preston, Dustin and Marcus Mullens, Lindsey and Kelsey Caton, Zach, Luke, and Deb Losey, Michael Miglicio and Blake Andrews, Ali, Jon and Dylan Parisi; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Ann Wickett of St. Marys, Lisa (George) Salter of Emporium and Diane (Jim) Christoff of Cicero, N.Y.; a brother, Floyd (Patty) Wickett Jr. of St. Marys; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother Ruth Wickett; a granddaughter, Krista Losey; and a sister, Laurie Long.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Carol M. Parisi on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth St., Emporium with Rev. Paul S. Seibert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Nurses, Inc., 757 Johnsonburg Rd., Suite 200, St. Marys or to the Hospice program.
