Carolyn Kathryn Jane Luchini Miller

Carolyn Kathryn Jane Luchini Miller, 77, of State College and a former Kersey resident died on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at her residence following an illness of the past several months.
She was born Dec. 24, 1935 in Kersey, daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Dominica Antonioli Luchini. As an infant her mother passed away and she was raised by Joseph and Mary Antonioli Capuccini and they also preceded her in death.
On May 26, 1962, in the Holy Cross Church in Brandy Camp, she married James Carl Miller and he survives.
Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Kersey High School, Class of 1954 and was a graduate of Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing and Duquesne University. She was a member of the Our Lady of Victory Church in State College and was an avid golfer and bowler.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two brothers, Joseph Luchini of Kersey and Samuel Luchini and his wife Betty of Kersey; and by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers Francis Luchini, Vincent Luchini, John Luchini, Louis Luchini, Angelo Capuccini, Frank Capuccini, Ernest Capuccini, Joseph Capuccini Jr., Bruno Capuccini, John Capuccini, and Andrew Capuccini; and sisters, Olive Zanolli, Mary Capuccini, Rose Holtzhauser, Louise Gigliotti, Jennie Capuccini, and Mary in infancy.
Due to renovations at the St. Boniface Church, family and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Carolyn Kathryn Jane Luchini Miller to be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church in St. Marys on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James Faluszczak officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Kersey.
There will be no visitation.
