Photo by Becky Polaski Pictured are graves of members of the Bayer family, located in the section across from the chapel at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

Individuals from all walks of life are buried in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Some lived long lives, while others barely had a chance to live at all. It is the individuals in the latter category that local historian Ray Beimel discussed during part of his recent tour of the facility.
Beimel began by stopping at the grave of Rose D. Weis, who died in 1928 at the age of 25.
