A large crowd gathered Saturday evening for the St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Dinner in which two local businesses and one organization were honored for their achievements throughout the past year.
The 2014 recipients were GKN with the Business Achievement Award, the Keystone Elk Country Alliance (KECA) with the Community Achievement Award, and the St. Marys Rotary Club with the Community Spirit Award.
The Highlands, formerly the St. Marys Country Club, hosted the Hollywood-themed event "A Night with the Stars."
Ashley O'Dell, Chamber outreach coordinator, presented opening comments by acknowledging those in attendance for their year round continued support of the Chamber.
"One of the things I am most proud of when I think of St. Marys is how despite our size we are still a close knit community and come together," O'Dell said.
