Charges not linked with Seneca injection well

February 14, 2014

ERIE – A federal criminal case filed this week in U.S. District Court in Erie apparently is not directly linked with the proposed Seneca Resources injection well in Highland Township.
Ronald A. Wright of Pleasantville is charged with providing false information involving the plugging of three abandoned oil and gas wells in Elk County.
The alleged false documents were used by the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) in considering injection well permits for the American Refining Group (ARG) based in Bradford.
