Dino's Place on Market St. will mark the fifth stop of the Straub Brewery Charity Pub Crawl taking place Friday beginning at 9 p.m.
The free event will feature the local band "The Remedy" as the headlining act.
The event's drink specials and special events are likely to draw a large crowd, as has been the standard at previous stops.
“We are excited to partner with Straub Brewery and the four charities involved and look forward to a fun time on Friday night," said Dino Dinsmore, owner of Dino’s Place.
At each stop, patrons may purchase the Pub Crawl's black concert-style T-shirts, with proceeds benefiting four local charities, the Elk County Humane Society, Rotary Club of St. Marys, Relay for Life of Elk County and the Crystal Fire Department. The shirts are also available at the Brewery Gift Shop.
"The community continues to show support for the event by wearing the official Pub Crawl tees," noted Cathy Lenze of Straub Brewery.
According to organizers, Straub Brewery is donating an additional check for over $1,000 to each charity from proceeds raised from both current T-shirt sales and from Pub Crawl activities to date.
With each T-shirt purchase, the Pub Crawler will automatically be registered in a monthly drawing for one free case of Straub Beer. Also included monthly are Pub Crawl collectible beer bottles with flavored peanuts prepared by Nuttin’ But Nuts. There is only a limited number of customized bottles, with all proceeds being donated to the four charities equally.
One of the charities that will benefit, the Rotary Club of St. Marys, has been serving the local community and has been a member club of Rotary International for over 60 years.
