Charles Carmen Tesauro

Charles Carmen Tesauro, 59, of 34 Park Rd., Emporium, and formerly of St. Marys, died Friday morning, April 29, 2011 morning at his residence.
He was born June 21, 1951 in St. Marys, a son of Charles and Betty Huff Tesauro of St. Marys, who survive. On September 27, 1985 in Emporium, he married Jean Smith Tesauro, who survives.
Mr. Tesauro graduated from St. Marys High School, Class of 1969. He served with the U.S. Army Reserves. He retired from GKN Sintered Metals, where he worked for many years.
He was a member of the George Wagner Lodge #639, F. and A.M. in St. Marys, where he served as a Past Grand Master, and was a member of the Shriners. He had also served as a Deputy Game Warden. He was a life member of the NRA and a member of the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen's Club and the NW PA Wild Turkey Federation. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed raccoon hunting. He loved digging for old bottles and enjoyed his dogs.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by a son, Jason Smith and his wife Leah of Roseville, Calif;
a daughter, Jill Smith of Queenstown, Md; a granddaughter, Alexia Jean Smith; a sister, Diane, Mrs. Fred Krug of St. Marys; a nephew, Cory Krug; a niece, Kristy Costanzo and her husband Kevin; and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Tesauro, on March 15, 2001; and by a sister, Sue Ann, in infancy.
A funeral service for Charles Carmen Tesauro will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 306 S. Spruce St., Emporium, on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Gary Atkinson, pastor, officiating. A military service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.
Burial will be in the Portage Township Cemetery in Gardeau.
Visitation with tribute video will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-9 p.m., where a Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m.
