Christine A. Schatz

Christine A. Schatz, 61, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of Bucktail Road. died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at the Pinecrest Manor after an illness of the past several months.
She was born Feb. 20, 1951 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Charles and Loretta Nissel Schatz.
Christine was loving and easy to please. In her good years, she enjoyed many things. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church.
She is survived by six sisters, Thalia "Mickie" Huefner of St. Marys, Marlene Pichler (Albert) of Kersey, Bev Erich of St. Marys, Charlotte Vollmer [Alvin] of St. Marys, Barbara Martini [Roger] of St. Marys, and Kathleeen Rowley [Gil] of St. Marys; a brother, Marvin Schatz [Marilyn] of St. Marys; two sisters-in-law, Jean Schatz of St. Marys and Donna Schatz of St. Marys; and many nieces and nephews and her loving caregivers and friends at Pinecrest Manor.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Schatz and Milton Schatz; and two brothers-in-law, Benedict Huefner and Albert Erich Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Christine A. Schatz will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to a favorite charity.
