City looking for input with cable TV contract

February 19, 2014

St. Marys City Council approved for City Manager Dave Greene and Solicitor Tom Wagner to represent the city during upcoming contract negotiations with Zito Media. A new contract between the two entities will begin in January 2015.
"It will take about a year to get negotiations together," Greene said.
Greene said the company recently ran new cables in a recent effort to improve the cable television reception at City Hall.
Mayor Bob Howard stressed the need for better picture quality as there have been lots of discussion in the community about the issue. Greene and Councilman Greg Gebauer both echoed Howard's thoughts on the issue.
