Cold weather prompts school delays

ST. MARYS - A bitterly cold morning coupled with high winds and icy roads in spots led school districts in Elk County to call for a two-hour delay Tuesday morning. A forecast for similar weather today led school administrators at St. Marys Area, Johnsonburg Area and Ridgway Area school districts to again announce a two-hour delay for this morning. Administrators made their decisions between 2 and 4 p.m. yesterday.
