ST. MARYS - As the St. Marys Community Pool gets ready to open for the season, area residents should be aware that weekend hours will be modified based on attendance in past years.
"We've been looking at the number of people who come to the pool on the weekends and it seems like the time from 5 on to closing is not very well-attended, so we decided to just open an hour earlier because there have been some requests from different people about opening earlier on the weekends, so we are trying that this year," said St. Marys Community Pool Manager Gregory L. Snelick.
"Hours will be 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, which allows us on
Sunday evenings to move our night swim from 8 until 10 in the evening. We will keep the same prices on weekends as we do during the week."
