For the past several years the Confirmation students from St. Marys' three Catholic parishes have held collections after each Mass during the same weekend as the Super Bowl. Known as 'Souper Bowl Sunday,' the proceeds from the annual event benefit the Christian Food Bank of St. Marys. This year's collection, which was held Feb. 1-2, saw $4,951 donated for the organization.
