Connor D. Bobik

Connor D. Bobik, age 5, of 224 Hilltop Dr., Kersey, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 2, 2011, after a courageous battle against brain cancer.
He was born June 30, 2005, in DuBois, son of Derek and Diane McGuire Bobik of Kersey, who survive.
He attended kindergarten at the Fox Township Elementary School. He will be remembered for his sparkling personality and his contagious smile. He loved playing with his brother, attending kindergarten, camping and soccer. John Deere and Monster Jam were two of his favorite things.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Aidan Bobik, at home; his paternal grandmother, Rita Bobik of Hastings; his maternal grandparents, David and Laura McGuire of Stanley, N.C.; his uncle and aunt, Jason and Heather McGuire; and his cousin Emma of Greer, S.C.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alfred "Sonny" Bobik.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Connor D. Bobik will be celebrated in the St. Boniface Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James Faluszczak, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
