Constance M. "Connie" Beaver

Constance M. "Connie" Beaver, 73, of 113 Grove St., Johnsonburg, died Tuesday evening, May 22, 2012, at Pinecrest Manor in St. Marys following a brief illness.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1938 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Costek and Mildred Seifert Olszewski. On July 4, 1959, she married David C. Beaver, who survives.
She resided in Johnsonburg most of her life and had lived in Greenville, S.C. for several years. She was a 1956 graduate of Johnsonburg High School, had worked at Stackpole Carbon Co. for eight years, and was employed by Roy B. Constable Stores for 15 years, retiring in 2000.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, the Johnsonburg Senior Center and the Humane Society. She was avid about animal rights.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Brenda M., Mrs. Jake Hodgdon of Wilcox, and Cheryl R., Mrs. Robert Coward of Wilcox; a special dog, Lily; four grandchildren, Jill McMahon, Erica Hodgdon, Courtney Dase and Andrew Coward; two brothers, Richard Olszewski and his wife Marie of Ridgway, and Donald Olszewski and his wife Rita of Penfield; two sisters, Dianne, Mrs. John Asti of Kersey, and Elizabeth Olszewski of Johnsonburg; two aunts, Rita and Gertrude Geyer, both of St. Marys; and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service for Constance M. "Connie" Beaver will be conducted at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, officiating. Interment will take place at Holy Rosary Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg.
