The signs were prompted by citizens inquiring about parking meter enforcement hours, which are Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. except for Sundays and federal holidays. Previously those times were only presented on the individual parking meters.

During a brief nine-minute public meeting, St. Marys City Council discussed ordinance 279. Matt Pfeufer, city zoning officer, said the ordinance pertains to minor changes of technical provisions and typographical errors in the city's zoning ordinance.
