Council contemplates taking over street lights

City Council discussed potentially taking over several street lights on Access Road, located in the Elk County Industrial Park on West Creek Road in St. Marys.
At their recent workshop, council tabled the item in order to obtain more information.
The city received a letter from the Elk County Industrial Development Authority (ECIDA) stating they are turning over the park's streetlights and the sign lighting over to the city.
This is usually done when a road is turned over to the city however the authority continued to carry the bill for the lights through November 2013.
