Several members of St. Marys City Council have shown interest in potentially having a new study conducted regarding the city. The study would focus on various aspects related to finances, management and implementation.
Councilman Gary Anderson said he recently reviewed Bradford's report done by Delta Development Ground, Inc. under the Pa. Early Intervention Program (EIP) for analysis of its city's financial condition which he said provides a good base when reviewing wage, expenditures and more.
The study is funded in part by the Pa. Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), Governors Center for Local Government Services.
"I think it's something we should be pursuing in getting a proposal with some of the firms DCED works with," Anderson said.
