St. Marys City Council workshops are being restructured to allow more time for dialogue between council and residents as well as encourage more thoughtful deliberations.
Councilman Greg Gebauer proposed the new workshop format during their reorganizational meeting held earlier this month, which includes voting protocol, changes to agenda setup, and not permitting TV broadcast of the workshop.
"I just thought it would be a good opportunity for us to discuss items before we actually come to vote on them or discuss any items that may be plaguing the city," Gebauer said.
