The Country Home Gift Shoppe is celebrating its grand opening Saturday tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the new location along the Million Dollar Highway, located next to Kwik Fill. The new location opened on Feb. 1. Gifts and prizes will be distributed all day Saturday. The shoppe originally opened as Bambino's in Kersey then moved to N. Michael Street in St. Marys while changing its name to The Country Home Gift Shoppe. Inside the shoppe are items like jewelry, candles, crafts, handmade items, candy, gourmet chocolate treats, cheese and sausage, household items, trinkets, clothing, scrapbook and bingo supplies, beauty items, ceramics and more from 40 vendors. Items change daily at the shoppe, which is looking to expand in the near future. Customers may also order specialty or personalized products as well. The shoppe is always looking for new vendors. The Country Home Gift Shoppe 2 in Emporium celebrated its grand opening yesterday, featuring 20 vendors. Shown in the photo is store employee Sandy Buzard arranging items on a display.
