County taxes on the rise

RIDGWAY – The Elk County Board of Commissioners on Monday morning voted to accept a proposed 2014 budget with a one-mill increase, the first hike since 2009. The budget will be displayed for 20 days at the commissioners' office in the Courthouse Annex along Center Street in Ridgway.
