Court date is delayed for driver in 6-fatality crash

SMETHPORT – A change has been made in the next court date for a Kane woman charged in connection with a horrific six-fatality crash Aug. 31.
Kathleen S. "Kathy" Douglas, 37, had been scheduled to appear Thursday in McKean County Court in Smethport to enter a plea in the case,
Her last day for a plea has been delayed until Friday, April 25 at 9:30 a.m. before Senior Judge William F. Morgan, according to court documents. The records also list that date and time for a "status conference" before Judge Morgan.
