The Jay Township Board of Supervisors' appointment to fill a vacancy on the township's Water Authority Board continues to draw criticism, with residents and officials questioning the validity of the selection and motives behind it.
The appointment in question occurred at last month's meeting, when Supervisors Jeremy Rippey and Fran Gustafson voted in favor of appointing Marty Rosenfeld to fill a vacancy left by Water Authority Board member Geoff Sidelinger's February resignation.
