ST. MARYS - In recognizing National Women's Health Week taking place May 13-19, Curves of St. Marys has planned a full slate of events featuring healthcare services during National Curves Day on May 17.
Festivities will kick off this Saturday with a rummage and bake sale at Curves, located inside the Franklin Center in downtown St. Marys, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Team Curves Purple Power, the gym's American Cancer Society's Relay for Life team. The sale is being organized by Curves members Mary Hunt, Betty Polaski and Barb Orsich.
St. Marys Curves Owner Peggi Yeager said this year Curves has partnered with the U.S. Office of Women's Health in creating the inaugural National Curves Day, taking place annually on the Thursday following Mother's Day.
