DA holds conference on recent drug arrests

District Attorney Shawn T. McMahon spoke at a press conference Tuesday afternoon concerning recent drug busts and how citizens can be aware of suspicious activity involving the synthetic drug "bath salts."
As a result of an ongoing investigation the following suspects have been charged in possession and distributing bath salts: Jacob Dilley, 21, 130 Poplar Rd., Jeremiah Dilley, 35, 42 Dippold Ave., St. Marys, William Dilley (father of Jacob and Jeremiah), 55, 130 Poplar Rd., all of St. Marys and Abby O'Rourke, 30, 331 1st Ave., Johnsonburg.
The investigation was conducted by the St. Marys Police Department and the Attorney General's North Central Municipal Drug Task Force. They were able to use confidential informants and intercepted communication to make the arrests.
