Dance company hosts community showcase

Photo submitted DDCC's contemporary routine "Stay" has garnered top awards at the company's competitions this season. They are hosting their annual showcase on Sunday afternoon at ECCHS.

On Sunday the Dynamic Dance Competition Company (DDCC) is hosting a showcase featuring their 2014 season routines. There is free admission to the event being held at Elk County Catholic High School with a 2 p.m. curtain call.
This season's 22 dancers encompass the largest group in company history which is based out of April School of Dance in St. Marys.
"This competition season has gone very smooth," said Jennifer Blankenship, DDCC founder and artistic director. "Every time we start a new season it's a challenge for me and my dancers. It was an intense season."
