Daniel Mark Titchner, 35, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at his father's house.
He was born Nov. 23, 1978, and graduated from St. Marys Area High School.
Everyone loved Danny. He was a kind and wonderful person. He loved to play guitar and hang out with fellow musicians. He would do many random acts of kindness for others because that is who he was. He loved his family and did his best to let them know that. He was looking forward to spending time with Joely this summer doing things that he had missed out on. He was also making long term plans with the love of his life, Kelly Leathers. Danny was a good kid that made some wrong decisions, but those decisions are not the man our son had become.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Patricia Gibbs Greene (Craig) of Kersey; his father, Mark Titchner (Bekki) of Ridgway; a daughter, Joely Jean Titchner, 11; three sisters, Mrs. Cassie (Titchner) Young (Travis), Ceanne Titchner and Kim Sloff (Mike); a brother, Nicholas Titchner and his fiancee Tarah Trayer; paternal grandparents Margaret Anthony (Lawrence); fiancee Kelly Leathers and her son Landon; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in the area and in California.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Beulah "Boots" Yale, in 2011; paternal grandfather Jack Titchner in 1989; a sister, Abigail Mae Titchner in 1977; a brother, David Louis Titchner in 1980; and by an uncle, Ronald Titchner in 2005.
Services to honor the untimely passing of Daniel Mark Titchner will be held in the First United Methodist Church, 104 N. St. Marys St., on Friday, May 23 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. J. Tim Hoover, pastor. The family is asking everyone to join together after the service at the Ridgway American Legion to celebrate his life and love. Come and share stories and love to help the family get through this difficult time.
