Darcy L. Allegretto

Darcy L. Allegretto, 54, of 6989 Glen Hazel Rd., Wilcox, died Friday night, Feb. 3, 2012 at her residence following an illness of one year.
She was born on June 29,1957 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Richard "Bill" and Lucille Winters Silcosky.
On July 15, 1989, she married Lawrence "Larry" Allegretto, and he survives.
Formerly of Johnsonburg, she resided in Glen Hazel since 1985. She graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1975.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Johnsonburg. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She also loved to be outside doing planting and yardwork.
She was employed by PC Systems of Ridgway for four years and had been employed by the Market Basket in St. Marys for 19 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Cory Leader of Pittsburgh; three sisters, Gail, Mrs. Rick Gavazzi of St. Marys, and Mary Ella Eubanks and Marcia Brendel, both of Nashville, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Darcy L. Allegretto will be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Stephen Fair, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church of Johnsonburg.
Interment will be in Wardvale Lutheran Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
