Diane Roberta "Bobbie" Benson

Diane Roberta "Bobbie" Benson, 51, of 212 South Brady Street, DuBois, and formerly of St. Marys, died on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 following a brief illness.
She was born March 31, 1959 in St. Marys, a daughter of Doris Williamson Lenox and the late Robert D. Lenox
On September 29, 1978, she married Bradley Benson, who survives.
She graduated from Elk County Christian High School in 1977 and was a member of Queen of the World Church. She had been employed at Sheetz in DuBois for several years. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary in Smethport. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, but most of all she enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Bradley "Benny" Benson and his wife Erica of Danville, Jesse Benson and his wife Jenny of DuBois, and Bob Benson of DuBois; two daughters, Jamie Benson at home and Brandy Benson at home; three grandchildren, Riley, Caleb and Audie Benson; a sister, Mary Lenox and her fiance James Ullman of St. Marys; and by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Diane R. "Bobbie" Benson will be celebrated at the Queen Of The World Church, 134 Queens Rd., St. Marys, on Saturday at noon with the Rev. Michael Ferrick, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
