District manager Robert Dippold resigned from the Elk County Conservation District on Tuesday, Jan. 11 after working for the district for over 20 years.
“Most of you know, I met with Bob [Dippold] to discuss some of those issues and the following week he tended his resignation,” said conservation district chairman Russ Braun. “As a result of a performance review, he decided to hang it up.
“With that being said, we need to start searching for a new manager.”
The conservation district voted unanimously to appoint Elk County Watershed Specialist Kim Bonfardine as the temporary interim district manager until they find a replacement.
